In Australia, we worked together with Crown Ambassador in 2010 to find the right glass for their special release.  The press release at the time stated:

Lanson Champagne 1

On Wednesday 24 March, an elite tasting panel led by two of the world's greatest craftsmen selected a Riedel Shiraz design as the perfect glass to partner with the third vintage of Australia's most luxurious beer - Crown Ambassador Reserve Lager - which will be released in August 2010.

Fourteen different shaped and sized glasses, especially brought from the home of Riedel in Austria for the occasion, were trialled at the tasting...  By the final round, it was agreed that Riedel's Vinum Extreme Shiraz glass was the perfect partner for this limited-edition lager.

John Cozens explains that the secret is selecting a glass that brings out the complex flavours of the beer and which also prevents the aromas escaping -- the magic of Riedel glassware. 'Compared to the other 13 glasses, the one we selected really emphasises the different levels of flavour of Crown Ambassador Reserve in a more balanced way. After more than an hour of deliberation, I believe the final glass will enhance what is already an extraordinary drinking experience.'

Georg Riedel explains the philosophy behind the partnership: 'Crown Ambassador Reserve and Riedel share many of the same principles; luxury, style and quality, so this collaboration to hand-select the most complementary Riedel glass design for Australia's most premium beer is a wonderful fit.'

Coincidentally, this glass was designed in 2004 specifically for Australian Shiraz, following a partnership with Penfolds about what glass would be most suitable for their iconic wines.
